Speech regcognition on IPhone and IPad.
The new platform SpeechAnywhere from Nuance, which enables speech recognition on IPhone and IPad, will be available in the autumn 2011
This new cloud-based platform provides users with new capabilities for speech-driven clinical documentation and voice navigation, where the actual speech recognition is transmitted via Cloud server. The speech recognition is done in real time and the users will experience the process as if it was done locally.
This solution can be easily accessed via a mobile device, such as IPhone, IPad and other smartsphones, without the CPU power to produce good speech recognition.
It will also be beneficial to utilise this solution in browser-based applications.
